The purpose of the Columbia Alumni Club #2 is as follows:

* To foster the ideals of Benedict College 

and the Benedict College

National Alumni Association.

*To promote, encourage, and maintain the interest of alumni in the College and in each other, while 

advancing a spirit of fellowship and loyalty among members.

*To assist in building and maintaining a strong 

effective National Alumni Association.

*To assist the alumni in the Columbia area to keep abreast of the recent developments, policies, needs, and progress of the College.

*To assist the College in recruiting top-caliber students.

*To assist the Alumni Relations Office in locating and keeping current information on graduates.

*To advance the cause of higher education through increased financial support to college scholarships.

*To help Benedict College in every way possible to achieve its desired goals.
